2011 US Open Synchronized Swimming Championships - Gold, Silver, and Bronze for WCA

The 2011 U.S. Open Synchronized Swimming Championships which were held at Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex in Honolulu, HI have concluded and Walnut Creek Aquanuts are bringing home Gold, Silver, and Bronze!

First it was time for Juniors to shine on Thursday, July 14th. Most notably the Junior team has proven once again to be a powerhouse by taking a First place late in the day ahead of teams from Japan (2 - Kyoto Tohusikai Swimming) and Canada (3 - Quebec Provincial Team). This was preceded by solid displays in Solo and Duet competitions.

As competition drew to a close on Friday, July 15th with finals in Senior category, WCA’s Alyson Haylor has missed the podium in Solo by less than 2-tenths of a point to finish 4th. While in Combo Final WCA team has finished a solid 2nd just behind Tokyo Synchro Club (1) and ahead of Kyoto Tohusikai Swimming (3).
